good 3 points.
the f***ing moaning before kick off, would give spurs fans a run for their money
I think Willo had a lot to do with the win, with his strange ' hex' positive prediction before KO.
play up Willo !

The 'Willo chimes' - "Play up Willo, Willo play up"

In terms of predictions I suspect normal service will be resumed in the near future !

For once I have not seen a single post moaning about or even mentioning the referee. On that basis he must have had a good game.

Supporters find no fault in the referee when their team wins but find fault when their team is defeated !
Jolly well done Andre Marriner.

Spot on, I wanted a real challenge today, luckily, it was a walk in the park - they didn't shoot on target til 85 mins, this will have done us good, but under no illusions.

It's a weird season and table...

Agreed, mate.

I get what Ayew provides us, good with the ball, good competitor, hard worker, wins us free kicks in useful positions, but just dont see him as a long term CF for us.

What am I missing with Edouard?

He gives us a physical presence, often gets on the end of crosses, good with the ball at his feet and has several assists to his name this season.

Am I not seeing something? Maybe because I only see him on telly in the middle of the night, maybe he does or doesn't do things off camera or my blurry eyes don't see?

Why isn't he a starter?

Willo called it.

Bournemouth were dire, but I'll take it. A much needed 3 points before our run of difficult matches.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Totally agree. That was a massive 3 points today and we needed it. We played well but I'm not getting to carried away as Bournemouth were awful but after the Fulham result it was the positive reaction we needed so fair play lads!

On a sour note I still don't know what Schlupp brings to our side but Vieira obviously sees something!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

With modern day tv coverage you get a pretty good visual of the game. In fact with the playbacks, slow motion, close ups and pundits I’d say it’s almost better than being there.
Another thing Ayew is very good at is getting fouls. You only have to touch him and he’s down if it suits him and us.

We have limited resources of players as has clearly been seen in the last two games.
Having Guehi back replacing Tomkins and Ward replacing Mitchell made a noticeable positive difference.
Yesterday showed we are a solid mid table club. Fulham showed what can happen when we come up against a better team on the day and we don’t get the rub of the turf. Hitting the bar, then going down to nine men and it was over.
We bounced back well yesterday. Bournemouth never troubled us. Our game plan worked as did the players. It was good to see Hughes come on late and also our two strikers.
Our current set up and players should hold us mid table but probably we do not currently have the depth to make the next leg up and challenge ultimately for Europe.

That was my take from yesterday's game. After 2 poor performances we turned it around, okay Bournemouth were poor but that is not our problem.

I think if we had lost yesterday then I would have started to worry about PV however we didn't so he still hows the dressing room.

With the exception of the FDB reign we seem to have a happy settled squad who want to play for the manager, as long as that continues I think we will be a mid to bottom table with our limited resources.

Completely agree! And I’m very happy with mid table……there are far worse alternatives and we don’t have Newcastle oil cash to spend.
