What bothers me is this statement from the judge "while gender-critical views might be “profoundly offensive and even distressing to many others … they are beliefs that are and must be tolerated in a pluralist society”." So the vast majority of the country holds profoundly offensive views do we? But hey ho we should be tolerated.

'Those who have failed so miserably in life, were bullied at school, raised by this type etc. are now trying to impose their sexually motivated and anti-societal beliefs on others'. Imagine my shock. As I have mentioned before it's anti-science. Hiding behind a ludicrously formulated narrative of 'oppression' is a good way of attempting to silence anyone who calls out this flagrant lunacy. When your ideological nonsense is so fragile it can be useful to avoid, censor or even completely eradicate the truth at all costs.

Not unexpected for Channel 4, who didn’t try to block it, but has he not committed an offence under the public decency legislation?

This is quite interesting in relation to the law. It's a couple of months old and from the Guardian, who must be in a bit of a spin about it. Apparently having gender critical views has protected status under the equality act: e.g. Islam and gender etc. Biological sex is the law. Sex is a protected characteristic under the equalities act. The law is not gender critical. Edited by Pembroke (24 Oct 2022 3.34pm)
