Its just one guy on twitters opinion.

The big Italian and Spanish clubs are more likely to be the main drivers as their domestic leagues become less relevant compared to the premiership.

I have quite enjoyed watching United fans moan about how football isn't for sale etc . Amazing how quickly they changed their tune as soon as the boots on the other foot.

Personally I think this is being driven by American owners

And if it went badly where would they get relegated to?

I can't see why Rangers and Celtic shouldn't come into the English game (albeit starting in the lower leagues), as Cardiff and Swansea are in it.

You could make every game against them played at wembley and fill it every time.

But wouldn’t that prevent promotion for a club who’ve earned it?

I mean if they get relegated wouldn’t they be taking the place of a club who would’ve been promoted?

What if, and a big if; these clubs have had a down payment from the investors. Game on for the PL and eufa then I reckon.
Alternatively the clubs have told the banks or owners of their debt that they will pay it back with the stupid league money. No smoke without fire. Goner get spicier methinks.
