We will offer what we think is reasonable and that it’s…take it or leave it. The fact that they have chosen not to accept our previous offer for Kabac makes me think this one is dead..we will look elsewhere.

I do not believe the Bundesliga have a parachute payments as we do (Although they do have a TV revenue structure that acts as a kind of parachute payment but it's not on the scale of the Premier parachute payments). This leads me to think that Kabak could be a deadline day signing when Schalke's resolve will really be tested.

He really is hated by some of our fans. You know, won't happen, but if he were to join us he would be loved. He would be our ars*hole.

I saw this. Tbh I'm really happy we got the two CBs that we did buy. Kabak would have been a nice extra option to have but we're not the kind of club who can spend 15m on a back up CB. Edited by samprior (30 Aug 2021 3.43pm)
