Let's hope that his similarities with Yannick Sanago only extend to their physical resemblance... I'd rather much have seen us go for a box-to-box midfielder - James Maddison-type - than another striker, but undoubtedly part of the plan to freshen the squad and lower the average age.

We might well get a midfielder 'Over the line' this 'Window'.

Don’t know anything about this guy but would look like a good acquisition, 63 career goals from 139 appearances is a pretty good return. But the crux of the matter is the supply, unless we commit a bit more to going forward to support him and create chances he could struggle.

We all should take a rain check on his effectiveness before getting excited. We all hope he turns out to be the new Peter Crouch COYP
