At my work meetings we also suffered from a POA (plethora of acronyms) that so it was fun to MUA (make up acronyms) or conclude it was a LOOB (Load Of Old Bollox). Nice :-) and oh so true.

Sky News piece on Boris appointing his new security adviser. [Link] "The UK faces internal threats from the far right and dissident republicanism," says Sky's Alistair Bunkall. What? Did he miss the recent far left riots and the Islamic terrorist that killed three people last week? The thousands that are being monitored daily. Doesn't fit the agenda, does it.

No wonder Sky News is biased and holds a pro-EU stance. Adam Boulton, the Editor-at-large of Sky News, is married to Anji Hunter who was Director of Government Relations for Tony Blair's government in 1997. They both were having an affair when they met. Boulton had to divorce wife Kerena who is the sister of former Labour Minister and environmentalist Peter Mond. Do you think he is a Labour supporter by any chance? Luckily I didn’t have to provide evidence because I wasn’t actually a member and it didn’t occur to the Big Boss that a 19 year old Sex Pistols fan might not be that bothered about Hartley Hare.

'Fox News anchor fired over 'wilful sexual misconduct' claim' [Link] Why is this BBC story about a (low level) presenter on a foreign TV news network of interest to a UK audience?

The BBC will start charging over 75's from August 1. Let's hope the grey army fights back.

Continually useless service from an outdated organisation that couldn’t be more biased about its own agenda if it tried. Scrap the fee for everyone, make it pay per view and when it only gets a few million a year in, then it will realise just how much off kilter it’s agenda is.
