Well the less said about that the better.

Absolute abject performance.

The only thing that brought me any joy was the commentator twice referring to Ward as Dann and then later correcting himself only to then call him Kelly the next time he was on the ball. Possibly the only person doing a worse job than the palace players this evening.

Back down to earth with a bump!

Must get better. COYP

And calling Wilf Louis Saha.

Alex McCarthy could have literally sat on his arse in that goal the entire game and still kept a clean sheet. Let that sink in. Can not wait for the day Roy leaves. Thanks for the memories of total defending Roy but lets all move on. f***ing terrible

Bad day at the office. We looked totally off our game and all the players looked knackered. I don't think this was tactics rather the City game took its toll on a small and depleted squad. Saints thoroughly deserved it, which is hard to say coming from someone who grew up in Portsmouth.

Ward-Prowse though, I mean I really hope he takes a wrong turn down a dark alley. He reminds me of when my school team used to come up against a private school and you'd get some spoiled brat who thought he was clever to try and wind everyone up. What an embarrassment of a player.

Thank god we can have a break now and recover.

I know today was bad...but these same 11 (maybe 12-13) players have massively overachieved over the last couple of months. They will be absolutely wrecked. This performance was always on the cards sooner or later. They can't keep giving and giving forever. We have an insane injury crisis on our hands...and we felt it tonight.

Forget about this one, move on and look forward to the squad getting back up to scratch with some reinforcements if possible.

Well said, we are blessed to not be in the relegation zone with the injuries we have just had. We were completely outplayed but these things happen in football.

If Tosun had of scored then we have have won the game. The scored 2 absolute screamers.

Piss poor Palace, couldn’t see the game as I’m in a conference In Harrogate, final scores got read out and we got ridiculed, thanks for that!

They’ve beaten Tottenham Chelsea and Leicester in the last few weeks. They’re a better side than everyone’s making out. Didn’t see the game but read the commentary. Sounds like we had an off day at home when no one turned up. Not unheard of. Onto the next one.

Fair point. With them suffering a big fightback in the last game needed to get at them but again another match where the oppo manager knew how we were going to set up. Get nice and relaxed in the 1st half.

Everybody knows how we are going to be set up. We only have one dimension. There is no plan B !

Don't panic !

Well try not to ,that sort of performance was always going to happen and they didn't disappoint .
Go away ,have a week off and come back ready to steam on till the end of the season .

We still need a striker and two full backs

It's gonna be a fine line between Europa league football and relagation this season.

Harry Potter and his fancy football and 6 year contract is gonna take Brighton down.

Golden opportunity missed before the break!

People are saying don’t panic... it’s not panicking, it’s giving deserved criticism for a shambles of a display and rightly so.

I can’t ever workout why we are so negative at home against not particularly good sides... We did the same against Brighton and made them look like Barcelona and the same tonight. I just don’t get it.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
