Considering the injuries we have then a draw is a good result. No complaints from me.

Agreed good point

Think that's a bit harsh. Absolutely shocking for the first 70 minutes I agree but the subs made a real difference and we looked really good after that. Even Benteke looked a lot better.

He actually looked like he would score especially the longer the game went on, that was his best 25 mins since injury by a long shot.

I thought our performance was disgusting... We treated Brighton like they were Barcelona and made them look like Barcelona to...

We played without a proper right back and left back. Had to move Ayew out of his better position due to injuries and hadn't got a left footed player on the pitch after Riedewald went off. A draw is ok in these circumstances.

Could not agree more. No Wilf no joy and if he goes we will struggle.

Wilf got us the point - those who'll be glad when he's gone must be stark raving bonkers. He's the reason we're still in the PL. No longer can hebe expected do it by himself.

8 points clear of the zone. That could go, if and when the luck runs out, in 5 weeks.

Didn't we have a young left back on the bench? If so, why didn't Roy give him a chance? That's how Wan Bissaka came through, even though Roy only played him when Joel Ward was injured.
Thought we were poor beyond belief tonight, with the midfield overrun and no threat up front. The defence did OK even with the injuries. Roy was his usual negative self and we should have lost the game

Let's keep the ball this season!

We were dead lucky tonight and Brighton really deserved the 3 points. Their passing and movement was top draw and for me our thin squad is getting really shown up now..

Best player on the pitch was Trossard, he is real quality. That is the sort of player we should look at signing...

They bossed it by brilliantly working our weaknesses but their final ball was only good enough once and it took a brilliant first time cross to really split our defence apart, in the end it turned out that they were lucky too, anyone watching and interested in Zaha will be licking their lips though.

Fully agree. Wasn't great but you've got to take the circumstances into account as you say.

Interesting that in Roy's post match interview he makes several comments applying pressure for some investment. Really hope we're finally proactive as a few decent additions could really help us have a very decent season.

Feels like a win .6 regulars out ,players in different positions, Not easy in premiership to survive with all that

If Brighton had created more actual goalscoring opportunities then yes but they didn't because we defended well enough at the death and Brighton faded away very badly for the last 20 mins ..very surprised Murray didn't come on he would have loved that game.

Awful watch for 70 mins. We escaped with a point. Whilst we have all these injuries I would be more than happy to average a point a game

First 70 minutes was absolutely s*** tonight. Constantly under pressure because we had no one to play us out of it.

As soon as we bought on Mayer is was a different story. You have to create a threat or you’ll be constantly under pressure and eventually concede.

It’s no wonder the players look fed up.

We would have hammered them if Mayer started.
