If Zaha does leave (or even if he doesn't) it would be good to have someone around who can pi$$ off the opposition and its fans and provide something for MOTD to talk about when he bites Maguire's ear off, or something. It would at least add some excitement building up to 10th August, even if he subsequently turns out to be $hit!

Heck, if Wilf and Alfredo both play for us next season we could change the Wilf song to (to The Prodigy's 'No Good'):

He's too good for you
and we've Morelos
Wilf and Fredo, their too good for you..
.

All this talk of McCarthy, Jenkinson and obscure players like Diaz is starting to depress me. Come on Palace, get me Alfredo!

I can't say I have watched Morelos a lot this season, more a player you know of by reputation (And that reputation being a bit of a nutter).

Obviously 30 goals in a season at any level is noticeable and will bring up the debate of how comparative the SPL and PL are (I have to admit when there were vague rumors of us being interesting Van Dyke, I watched him in a game for Celtic and came to the conclusion he looks good with the ball at his feet coming forwards but won't be able to do that in the PL...What do I know!)

Looking at the goals he has scored he looks like aa bit of a goal poacher who gets his head down and works hard. Nothing flash but focuses on the job of scoring goals and seems to be in the right places at the right times. Certainly looks like he is full of confidence, something we are lacking with our strike force BUT should be be buying in players based on their current confidence? If he comes and his confidence gives him a few early goals, great. But, coming to a new club and doesn't make an immediate impact does he have the talent and ability to fall back on?

Mate some of the cards he get up here by the s***e hawk refs are unbeleavable.

Yes, cool, but watch the video. I do not see a crazy hothead but a young player who is treated unfairly by the referee and who still has to learn to stay calm in some situations. He is jostled, pulled and dragged, and the referees let it go. As soon as he does something, there's a card. I just say that will concede much less cards in Germany"

Playing for Rangers this arfternoon against Blackburn.

If he was leaving I doubt very much they would risk playing him in a friendly.

Watched the vid and I'm going to disagree with most. He is a hothead, flies into tackles which in a way is to be admired but is often late and petulant. Yes a couple of red cards in there that are unfair (Really don't see what he did to get the first red card in the clip and the one against Aberdeen when he is kicked in the face is certainly dubious) He obviously gets wound up and lashes out, he will get carded and sent off in the Premier for similar behavior certainly. Liability.

What you don’t see in the video mate is defenders kicking him from pillar to post off the ball in full view of the refs and linesmen and the scumbags don’t give him anything because of who he is.

And you don't think players will do that in the EPL? Look at the way that has happened to Wilf and how clubs used to wind Diego Costa up.

This guy should be coming to us along with St-Max Diaz/Clyne. Swap Wilf for permanent deals with Iwobi and Nelson plus 60 mil. Sloth to Rangers as part of AM deal, Tekkers to Turkey.Job done, still a hefty wad in SP's blazer pocket and one helluva squad. Just my opinion of course

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong
