However, how you wish to define 'race' is up to you. I really can't be bothered to discuss it tonight.....especially with someone waffling on about Nazis.
Your dismissal of 'race' as a social construct is a diametrically opposed viewpoint held by countless eminent scientists including Dr. Reich a Harvard geneticist who has achieved world renown for his stunning discoveries about our prehistoric past He recently stuck his head above the parapet with a piece in The New York Times, entitled “How genetics is changing our understanding of ‘race.’ ” It’s true, he wrote carefully, that race is a “social construct.” But, he added, “I also know that it is simply no longer possible to ignore average genetic differences among ’races’ ...[D]ifferences in genetic ancestry that happen to correlate to many of today’s racial constructs are real.” I do acknowledge the nod to your genetics argument. 2-1 to me I think.

We know 'race' is not recognised scientifically but that is a matter of classification. Humans are one species. It does make the whole question rather muddled and we know that any research on humans nowadays will be politically sensitive and therefore likely censored or spun.

I could waffle on about 'race'.....but to be honest I've done all that on the forum and had interesting discussions but also some not so interesting where people are convinced I'm 'hating' others. Anyway anyone with any sense knows that geneticists won't touch this subject with a barge pole. Look at what the establishment have allowed to happen to Watson. If that can happen to one of the most important scientists of last century no one is going to be candid. We aren't living in an era where race and genetics can't seriously be discussed in the mainstream unless it confirms to politically correct narratives. That's the current climate, anyway people of any race should try and make the best of their lives with whatever nature gave them. Not everyone can have my good looks and incredible singing voice. Live long and prosper......Or some other Star Trekkie stuff.....I'm kind of bored talking about race. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Mar 2019 8.51pm)

Hrolf and anyone else, don’t worry about this because when we’re gone most British males will be androgynous homosexuals or bisexuals so the country will be desperate for immigrants to impregnate women here to keep the tax revenue take going.

In light of the implementation of sharia law in Brunei George Clooney has called for a boycott of the hotels they own. So no more staying at the Dorchester for me and I look forward to seeing him at the Travelodge.
