Seems like many are overlooking the fact that Wilf wasn't on the pitch today.

Even so, we started well and rebounded from a losing position with good effort, and ultimately we at least as many good chances as Watford did. My only criticism of Roy is our weakness on corners (attacking and defending) but as a teacher I'll say sometimes there are limits to what you can do with students who just cannot focus.

Sakho's injury is going to keep us in the relegation discussion the rest of the season, I fear. Our back line is suddenly crap, and they used to be the only reliable thing about us.

Also, really tired of seeing Mac out there. He looks like an average bench player but yet he starts every week. He works hard, but adds nothing. Can't pass, can't maintain possession, and he doesn't score goals anymore.

Batshuyahi, like Wilf, is pure quality. Too bad we can never get the ball to them.

Watford is clearly better than us, in terms of talent, tactics, and coaching.

Well that didn't go as well as it could of. Bit of an enigma of a keeper, good at shot stopping, but useless under crosses, a bit of a familiar scenario for Palace.

Roy will not be going anywhere, his primary objective was to stay in the Premier, the cups are a sideshow. It saves the aggro of getting a ticket for Wembley and then seeing us lose to Utd again, been there done that twice.

McArthur should have come off well before he did.
We haven't looked like scoring at all.

JMac had a good stint with the club but surely this is his final season. Doesn't look like a player who can last 90 mins.

Dead ball specialist must be high on the summer shopping list.

Was hoping Wan Bissaka scored sigh. We need to sell Benteke and the 2nd goal was such a shame we were on top. Kudos to Watford, I don't hate them like Brighton and West Ham.

Big up the Palace!!!!

Very odd post. I thought we payed well in the second half and could possibly gone on to win it. I thought they melted in the second half if anyone. Just undone at the end.

You really don’t have a proper understanding of football. Sorry but you are so wrong. We had the upper hand for a moment which was the time to make the necessary substitutions to grub them into the ground. Instead we allow them back into the game and they make the killer sub. We got what we deserved in the end.

Gutted I could not go today and yet again our fans did us proud. Watford are such a tin pot club with tin pot fans.

As for the game, a good start to the match and then Watford started to improve and you could see the goal coming. Guaita again looks very questionable from crosses and gives no confidence to the back 4 and Watford clearly knew this.

Second half we looked good and fully deserved the goal. We just could not push on and that was the main disappointment but to say we showed no heart is a joke.

Watford score a very good 2nd goal and it was against the run of play.

I thought Meyer was very quiet again and drifted out of the match too frequently and Guaita made some good saves but is not the solution for a position that really needs to be improved.

Some of the posts on here are a joke, Roy has done a good job and the team did show heart, especially at the start of the second half. We were on top and scored so why did he need to change things? When they score he brings on Benteke which was the right move.

I hate to see the team lose but we have to accept who we are and we cannot expect to win every week which some people on here expect us to do!

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Wow I think you were watching a different game, we were utterly spineless first half and mostly ineffectual second half.

I too have supported Roy but enough is enough he refuses to make subs when it is clearly obvious that it is needed his failure to react has cost us the last 2 games.

Look at Watford today 2nd half did not have a sniff but instead of there manager making a defensive sub went attacking and what a surprise they win the game.

Our tactics are appalling so slow predictable and boring.

Roy has the best squad we have had at this club whilst in the PL and is massively underachieving.

Look at Watford, Bournemouth and Wolves all doing better than us cause they have managers that have balls and allow there players to express themselves.

We continuously moan about our strikers saying they are not good enough but the service is embarrassing the only reason Batshuayi scored today was due to a mistake by Marriappa.

You have Batshuayi who is a striker that thrives on lose balls in the penalty area never going to get in behind and beat a player for pace we then have Benteke who thrives on crosses into the box but refuse to do it.

Ask yourself why under fat Sam Benteke scores loads cause he knows how to play to a target mans strengh.

It’s time we progressed as a club and move on and the time has come for a change otherwise we are going to lose players like Wilf & Aaron as they deserve so much more.

Seriously Palace we need to ask ourselves what do we want?

I’m not asking us to go out and spend loads and not being unrealistic before people say things like who do you want us to sign I just want our talented team to be allowed to play to there strengths and show us what they are capable of as opposed to constantly playing with the shackles on that Hodgson just won’t let go or take off.

Please make a change for next season otherwise we in for the same again next season and not sure I can bare waiting till the 74th minute or going 2-1 down before making a change.

No I was watching Palace without the view of expecting us to outplay everyone every match!

The first 20 minutes we looked strong and were the better team, how is that spineless? The second half we get undone by a good goal and we were well on top at the time. After their second we were poor and that was frustrating.

All fans have different opinions and thats fair enough and that's the joy of football.

Let's get Pardew back shall we!!!!
