S’funny old game innit? On the one hand no one is supposed to care about the domestic cups. On the other, the BT Sport pundits are saying ‘Spurs’ season is all but over’

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

To you & PV - one more swap of insults and Wilf won't be the only one getting carded!

Fantastic result!

Jules, Ward, Townsend, Dann, Kelly, Meyer and Wickham all had really good games.

Van Aanholt shocking and, as someone just wrote on Twitter, looks too comfortable in a Palace shirt at the moment and needs competition.

Lots of big teams are out, if we can get a couple of decent draws we could genuinely go far into this competition now!

Don't know why, there isn't a 1 on the end of 2019

Considering that back 5 have barely played in the last year we looked very solid.

Townsend was immense, just everywhere.

Great to see us with a couple of genuine forwards back on the pitch and hopefully if Wickham and Benteke can get match sharp we should finish the season well.

Probably a relevant statement for all the squad and coaches, but really pleased for some in that win, CWs celebration said it all! Fantastic, well done Palace!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Disclaimer .. Zaha is the best outfield player I have ever watched play in a palace shirt.

Is it me, or is wilf reversing in his ability, every ball today he tried to over do the stepovers or try and run through the defender when a simple pass was on. Great result and solid solid performance ! And congratulations to Speroni !! 112 clean sheets, new club record.
I feel more and more Zaha is a one man player .. not a team player.

Considering 4 of today's back 5 were not current first choice players, that's was one hell of a good defensive performance.

Really well done guys!

Thought Ward had a better second half ,Van Arnholt was terrible,Why give wide players so much room ? Wilf wasn’t too bad sometimes his tricks work sometimes they don’t.But overall a good performance .
