Definitely getting suck back into the plughole, particularly with the Scousersaway next week.

At Anfield - rather than SP - reckon we’ll get a point.

I’m not happy, just saying we played a lot better than some earlier games this year, where we were totally clueless in the final third.

Watford are having a good season and they got a little bit of luck when it counted. Cleverly is not scoring top corner volleys in training I guess.

Roy needs to make subs earlier but perhaps you see the game plan here which is get benteke back in starting ASAP, with Wickham and Ayew as bench options.

I wouldn’t say we were sh*t, having watched games earlier in the year.

Ultimately we need Hodgson out and to be building something with a younger more progressive gaffer.

Are you implying that we werent clueless in the final third today? Because I beg to differ

Simple Watford had less possession but took their chances, we did not. Our problems are so clear that they don't need stating. Looks like this season will be a few highs and a lot of frustration.

Bit nerdy I know but if you exclude the Chelsea match, in the other 4 most recent games we've had 98 shots at goal.....we have scored 3 times and 1 of those was a penalty. That's absolutely pathetic. With finishing like that and if Guaita is out for a while then we are going to be back in the bottom three before we can say 'sign a proven goalscorer'!

Zaha had a one on one, he also laid a goal on for MacArthur that he missed.

AWB and Townsend looked pretty good coming forward on many occasions.

All I am saying is we played a bit better than the utter dross of some games earlier this year where we carved out zero clear cut chances.

Business as usual, then!

Not sure I agree with this. The only game I remember like this is Chelski. Our problems in front of goal have been from the start of this season. Newcastle and Wolves spring to mind.

Is that the same anfield where Liverpool rarely ever lose or concede goals ?

Our finishing has been really poor all year, well let’s face it for most of last year too.

Finishing is one thing, creating chances is another. All I’m saying here is we created some chances today, and with Guaita in goal and Zaha scoring a one on one, we could have won.

If we had won this game due to those reasons we would all feel a lot better, even though the performance would have essentially been the same.

I hate losing but this is a game where you just have to throw your hands up and say it’s one of those games, we were not outclassed.

Recent results against Wolves and Man City have bought RH some time in my book, but he is still not the answer for next season.
