If true it wouldn't surprise me if Parish has been haggling with Liverpool over who would pay for Solanke's train ticket. I really hope this Schalke story hasn't got any legs. Edited by JoeViper (02 Jan 2019 10.35am)

If you remember just before we signed Meyer someone was supposed to have hijacked the deal same here from my sources he has already signed a deal with Palace. He will be announced, we also have a back up list if 5 other strikers as we want to bring 2 in as we will be letting 2/3 leave. Originally posted by Midlands Eagle

It was supposed to have been done and dusted by last Monday as far as Solanke was concerned in his reported press statements, I'm afraid its the usual problems once SP gets involved he puts people off with his controlling attitude and then these moves historically fall apart, lets hope this time it happens?

Clearly neither Ayew nor Sorloth have worked out so would be great if they move on and Solanke comes in. That would be the best outcome for Palace and it would seem that’s what SP is trying to engineer?
