Just got home from the match - fantastic day, wonderful atmosphere. We were in total control for almost the entire game and got the job done brilliantly. Excellent performances from everyone - Ward 10x better than last week.

Apologies for the match thread-based confusion in my absence.

Agreed with us being in control for the entire game. Such a strange feeling...!

If I read it correctly on t’BBC website, Jamie Vardy touched the ball just 9 times yesterday. I suppose that’s good conditioning for his forthcoming World Cup experience.

Excellent performance yesterday, but you did have a feeling that the Leicester players were on the beach with cocktails 🍹 in hand, even though Harry Maguire said on MOTD that they weren’t.

I wasn’t sure. Having now watched the extended highlights on Sky I don’t think they were but it was more a case of their back 4 being completely incapable of dealing with Wilf & Andros and runners from deep. Meant the midfield was tied up trying to bail them out time & time again.

We simply gave the best ‘team’ performance I can recall.

That’s twice this season I’ve watched us play LCFC with a stinking hangover & it’s resulted in 6 points & 8 unanswered goals - maybe I should drink more?

As well as new contracts already mentioned we should double whatever Luka’s on & sign him up on a 5 year deal.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Vardy, Leicester and their route one approach has been sussed out by everyone else now and if Vardy is relied on for scoring England's goals then expect a similar showing to the last Euros.

Joel Ward Palace hero - like in the Watford Wembley playoff when he headed off the line from Forestieri in the last minute.

Seems to have gotten a few vital goal line clearances for us, any chance you think he'll pick up some gloves and change position XD

I don't know how he can possibly have thought it wasn't time for a shower. Straight red all day long.
