As for Roy, yes I agree - next season could be his last in the dugout, there should be quiet planning for his succession too with his successor perhaps joining his backroom staff - Jedi anyone?

I personally wouldn't let Dougie Freedman make any decisions regarding transfers. In fact I have no idea what he actually has done for us in a positive way since he arrived back.
I also think Will will stay. Spurs? He would be on more than Kane unless he takes a pay drop! Chelsea? Would be on the bench half the time. Liverpool? Why do they need him?
Wilf is the main man at Palace. The numero uno. He does what he likes, within reason, and plays unshackled. Where else would he be able to do that?
As people say, it all about replacing him, so if I had to see him go it would be to Chelsea on a swop for Willian plus cash.

I think you underestimate him. Opposition players attempt to shackle him now because he is the main man.
Just imagine if he was on a top side where he not only has better players alongside him but also is not the centre of defensive attention

I think on any side in the PL he would be one of their top 3-4 players

Look at it the other way. If Jesse Lingard came here
would he be triple-marked? He'd just be one of the guys

Willian is class. Don't know why Chelski haven't played him so much this season.

Not that it would happen but I'd be happy with that swap. However, I would rather keep Wilf and get in RLC permanently. I saw an interview with Wilf and he suggested that we should have RLC in the team next season, they seem to get along very well. That would also make RH a lot happier, as he rates him.

I think we will have Wilf until at least January. By then, as long as we were not involved in another relegation scrap, I wouldn't mind as much, if he went for crazy cash...

Wilf if going nowhere. We can be a top 6 club with a bit of ambition

Think he will stay but like all of us will be asking Roy & board what there transfer budget is going to be . That will be the deciding factor if wilf stays and for Roy as well . Could possibly lose both if SP & Owners don’t invest .

It really isn't as simple as that.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

No winter window next year, so if he is here in January, he will be here until next Summer.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cabaye return to France and Riedewald to The Netherlands.

Cavalieri will be gone as will Fosu-Mensah and Rakip and in all likelihood RLC.No futures for Delaney,Souare,Puncheon,Sako,Chung-Yong,Mutch and possibly others.

Plenty of movement through that 'Revolving Door'.

Really, no winter window! How did I miss that..

So, it's summer and that's it for the year?

You didn’t miss anything, there’s a winter transfer window as usual next season.

Only difference is the summer window closes before the first round of matches.

Vive le Roy!

There was talk about this last year with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus among the major European clubs seeking to change the transfer calendar by pushing for just one summer window to allow deals to take place so that they don't lose players in mid-season.I think that Mourinho and Wenger were in agreement.

There has been no mention of it being officially agreed and I am assuming there will be a 'Window' in January 2019.
