2-0 up should have been winnable! Every week its the same, we are finished Im afraid....going down due to the terrible transfer window, penny pinching over a few million is gonna cost us many millions.. not often I agree with Willo but I reckon hes right this time

We have won 6 times this season.
We probably need 4 wins
We have 9 games to go.

The mountains are calling & I must go.

Just enjoy the wonderful life on a true Palace roller-coaster! And next game is Chelsea with WZ maybe returning - remember what happened when he came back from injury last time (against the ruling champion)?

It ain't over.

A massive kick in the balls last night, but we can take the fight to anyone.

I disengage, I turn the page.

As the games remaining run down so the pressure on the players will build if the points don't come.
Last night was truly a kick in the teeth and will be a tough one for the players to take.
True - we expected nothing against Spurs - and we deserved nothing in my opinion and nothing against Man Utd but we definitely deserved a point last night.
However - deserved and didn't get won't keep us up.
I fear for us even though the last six games are winnable.
If we start that run still on 27 points we will likely need 12 points from 6 when at that point we will have got 8 points in the previous 11 games.
When the going gets tough can Palace get going!
I sooooooooooooooo hope we can!

A fair summary. We are 12 or 13 points from safety and absolutely must start winning games. If Wilf RLC Sakho, can come back for the Huddersfield game then we are in with a chance. But winning games against the teams around us brings its own pressure

My son-in-law watched the game on TV and told me this morning that both Carragher and Neville said before and after the game that they didn't think we would be relegated. He said they pointed to our last 6 fixtures and stated that we couldn't have chosen a better set of games with teams who have nothing to play for and a final game against WBA who will be relegated by then.

Why is it taken for granted that 38 points is enough?

I don't see why it will not be 43 at least.

Remembering Oldham think it was 48 points.

It may be comforting to target 38 but it is delusional it is not written.

Same as the other teams down there then. Everyone keeps saying we need this and that. Quite possible WBA stoke soton won't win another game all season, in which case we only need one win......

If Roy can get the last ten minutes organised - substitutes coming on at 60/70 minutes so they interact with a less exhausted team - we have hopes of getting more than sufficient points. The problem is that it is a 100 minute game and each opposing team will cause different wear to our lads - if you have four needing substitution, where do you place your three? COYP

There you go again but its also quite possible that we will not win another game either.

Willo is just being realistic.

After the Liverpool game we will have played 32 games and the 'Mood music' is that we could still be in the bottom three and a few points adrift.

When Hodgson was at Fulham in 2007-08 they were 6 pts adrift after 32 games but managed to win 4 out of their last 6 games and secured survival on the last day on goal difference.
