I think that when Benteke gets one he will go a spree.

My thoughts entirely. Frustrating to watch him fluff so many good chances, but keep working hard and it will come. Provided the assist today and did very well to keep their back line occupied, so no complaints today

Of course they will be. They are in the top three and were also playing Gary's bestest mates who will have got a 'magnificent draw' having played with ten men for 32 minutes. There were also more efforts on goal from both sides whilst we only managed two shots on target from each side. Great win for us but never a game to make the top slots on MOTD.

Just spoke to a mate who was there. He said the game was dire.

I was there, and it was far from dire. Really good first half, thought wd tired a bit second but battled well. Great performance.

See if anyone had said to me in October that we'd be 12th three months later with 25 points and that it would be Bakary Sako scoring the goals I'd have phoned Social Services.

Pretty impressive stamina given we were playing a high press for a lot of the game. We are obviously a lot fitter than we used to be.

Me too. Last year I felt the most pessimistic I ever have over this team, Willo was more optimistic than I was. Now I'm worried I've slipped into a coma and this is all just my brain telling me what I want to hear.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

I'm talking about the Chelsea match, I presume you weren't there?

Really good opening half hour from us. We need to learn to bury teams. Should/could have been 3-0 up at half time. Would have been a much more enjoyable second half if we were.
Wilf seemed a bit off pace today.
Great 3 points. Onwards and upwards under Roy.

An immense 3 points :
- great for morale we can do that with a patched up team
- making Selhurst Park a difficult place to come again
- gives us breathing space from the bottom 3.

Yes we do need to pass it better and retain possession better too, but that was a real battling 3 points. Huge credit to the defence today who were immense, but Sako was my MOM.
