I hope we get a good allocation, but I suspect we wont and it will be nothing to do with Brighton. It is or fault and we need to face up to our responsibilities.Look at the comments-it was the 'fault of the police' for cutting the allocation by 600-why does this justify 150 Palace 'fans' without tickets throwing bangers, storming the gates, injuring stewards and forcing their own fans with tickets to miss the game?
I know lets reward this behavior by giving them more tickets!
My son wants me to take him to see the new Star Wars film on the opening weekend, but it's sold out at the local cinema. Unreasonable bxxtard cinema owners, I think I'll take some fireworks down there, force my way in and occupy the front row.

The Sussex police said last week was a high risk fixture and the fans couldn't be trusted-we proved them right. For the first time in many years, I didn't feel 'South London and Proud'. We should shut up, take whatever allocation we get, and prove we now how to behave, in the hope we might be able to show last week was a 'one off' and we can have proper allocations going forward.

Where did you get the figure of 150 ticketless fans? How is it even possible to know that figure?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

He counted all the tickets they didn't have.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Perhaps I am a "Miserable sod" as well.

If the EPL is all that matters you my friend are supporting the wrong club.
What matters is trophies
You haven't got an argument against a Wigan fan EVER unless we match them and their trophy cabinet.
ZDS that's it and some playoff's
FFS give me a proper cup and I will die happy.
I'm palace till I die EPL. Div 2 or Isthmian I will still be palace.
Till I die.
Get it now.
Supporting this club is more than EPL.
Grimsby 4_0 home and come next week.
THAT. Is supporting palce.

The way I see it if Brighton or the Police or whoever reduced the palace ticket allocation are the ones to blame, for what went on at Brighton.

Should never have reduced the ticket allocation, they have never done that before to my knowledge and we haven't tried to get in before like that so that should tell you its down to Brighton.

If that's true, then Willo has definitely chosen the wrong club

How have you arrived at 600.
The away allocation is 3,000, we were given 2,000.

The Police and Authorities made a huge song and dance about this game. what they should have done was said nothing, which happens with other clubs fixtures.

Would the same amount of publicity and ticket checking have been made for Chelsea v Spurs, Leeds V Manure, Millwall v West Ham, Sunderland v Newcastle the list goes on.

I have been to these games in the 70's onwards, and what happened the other night which was something about nothing, and was not a patch of what used to happen all those years ago.

All Derby matches are high tension if you dont like it then dont go.
Brighton fans are as much to blame. They tried to storm the away end at kickoff time, but fortunately Palace fans who were trying to go in moved the weed away.
It appears the younger Palace fans were protecting families that were trying to get in.

Hence, the Police would not let anyone in just after kickoff.

Just for reference the allocation for FA cup matches is 15%
Rounding down Brightons Capacity, we should be allocated 4,000/4,500 tickets. This should cover all those that want to go.

Yes, being televised by BT on the Monday night. I guess the hope is fans won’t bother to travel.
Ticket allocation allowed 15% of capacity, only if SAG ( safety police ) agree.

I've got no doubt about wilo and his palace love so maybe I was a bit harsh and apologise if I've gone overboard.
Albeit that at the end of a players career it's the cabinet that counts as they're all minted so it's not dosh and what they are worth.
A few great wins in a run of being in a certain league won't be dinner conversation.
"How I won this" maybe that would cut it.
I don't know maybe I'm expecting too much but I've got super Al's semi and a couple more.
GREAT! but a proper trophy and I'm made up.

Yes reread and indeed, looks like Monday. Expected an early kick off Saturday or Sunday really, but they must think it's easier to crowd control in the dark after a few beers......
