Yes, but 2 of them were narrow 1-0 defeats, one of which was at Tottenham. We then went on to win the next 3 league games. It does seem bizarre that the narrative is about a newly appointed manager going after 3 or 4 games. You tell me a positive contribution that FDB achieved in his first 2 home games playing 3-4-3 ? How on earth for the fist home game to you play a new system with 2 new unproven unlpalyed in pre season CBs ,one only joined on loan 3 days earlier and one from a Dutch league that is way below prem standard centre backs. Leave AT on the bench and play JW in a position he's never played. Leave WZ the only outlet and wonder why he gets battered and injured for weeks. Fail to score and look like a team that has never seen a football before. FDB spent 90% of the time sat in the dugout looking like a rabbit in the headlights whilst the team were looking and asking for some directions. All I was saying is that the narrative is that after 3 games he should be sacked which does seem a bit incredulous if based on results alone.

If it was results alone plenty would 'cut him some slack' more easily. We will see. Deserves Burnley and possibly Southampton after changing at HT v Swansea at 1-0 down.

In - This is Palace, our managers either learn or leave. Those 3 games were are a harsh lesson for him. He will learn from them. If he doesnt then our opinion wont matter anyway, Parish will boot him out. I do believe that regardless of how good a manager he is, he is a fantastic coach and will help us knock up a descent youth system and we will end up buying young exciting players as well as making our own. All we need in return is to not be a train wreck of a manager. Even if you want him out, the consequences of him getting it right would be amazing...

Out if we lose on Sunday. You do not play that badly at home to Huddersfield and Swansea. He inherited a team playing "ok"and has made them look terrible. If loosing four of our last 5 games last season is playing ok God help us.

I have had people who support other clubs and some other people as well contact me about what is going on at our club. They all find it incredulous that the narrative is about a new manager being under pressure for losing 3 games. Some have said that FDB appears very demure, not inspirational and doesn't appear to be happy at all and this might 'Feed' into the mindsets of those who are calling for his head. Agreed. His overall demeanour is very uninspiring. However, I think part of FdB's problem was in throwing his players under the bus during his Swansea press conference. Pardew used to take credit for the wins and appoint blame for the losses - it was a bad tactic, I feel, when trying to keep the players on his side. FdB's demeanour may or may not be a problem. His tactics on and off the pitch seem to be.

Exactly this, if in our previous 3 games we played to our strengths and didn't look so clueless in a system, playing people out of position and had 3 tight games, regardless of the result we wouldn't even be speculating on his future after 3 games. I'll be watching the Burnley game to see if his actually learnt from the mistakes, if we play 343 are terrible and manage to nick 3 points from being gifted a goal then I'll still be questioning if he's the right person for the job.

No chance he'll play 3-4-3 against Burnley not unless he wants to be sacked at half time. No chance.
