They haven't given him a chance and his background definitely suggests that he deserves a chance. It's pretty simple when you use facts in an argument that can't really be ignored.

Yes he turned for pre season but the recent reports suggest, he will tell de Boer that we wants to leave. Commitment comes before ability in my books.

I wouldn't want to judge Steve based on 10 games played in a defensive system that leaked goals. We have a new manager and so far the backroom staff has remained constant. Let's see what goes on in pre-season before making any final decisions on any player.
