That would destroy the team shape and require all-new tactics after we just got our heads around the current-new tactics. Don't mess with the formula that's working. We're winning games playing well and winning games playing badly*. * Watford are a bunch of dirty cheats, and a more alert ref would not have let them get away with it all game. They offered nothing else save one long range shot. Indeed. The result was just, if not deserved.

Brilliant! Keep them coming please. It looked to me as if he went to head it clear but it went off his face, hit him in the bollocks, then bounced off the post and into the net. Didn't look too closely though because the only important bit is the last bit. Still if he got sore baws as well so much the better Edited by chateauferret (18 Mar 2017 9.00pm)

About 3 times today🤔 Only one was through on goal and that was at an angle. I agree there was an obvious moment he had to hit the ball and if hit right it goes into the bottom far corner or between keepers head and shoulder and into the net. Easier said than done when you've had zero service for ages. The other 2 weren't proper chances served to him. He needs a proper number 10 to provide and get him into a rhythm. Most forwards do.

The good thing about these breaks (Internationals or FA Cup) is getting injured players back. The other side the players lack match-practice and look rusty. Shooting at the training pitch vs the real thing are two different ball games.

A terrible game to watch yesterday ... it would have been better to follow it on the radio! However, we walked away with three points ... hey ho

OPTA has apparently been keeping tabs on shots on target for twelve years and it turns out that winning a match with zero shots on target is about as unusual as you might think. Jan 06 West Brom 0 Sunderland 1 The West Brom one seemingly involved a shot off target and deflected, whereas the Watford Hull one was like yesterday, i.e. ball across the box and the first man miscues the clearance.
