Neither of those 2 took over a Palace side with only 6 wins in a calendar year though.

most new managers you can see some positive influence straite away....whats sams positive impact been?

Braunie, you gave AP a full year of bad results and were willing to allow that to continue. Why won't you do the same for the new manager? He's had a month, and came in on the back of probably one the worst runs of results in the club's entire history. We both know that even Mourinho wouldn't turn that around in four weeks.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

You've clearly failed to appreciate the long-term, deep and serious damage Pardew has done to the squad. Remember what Allardyce said when he came in? He had never seen a PL squad in this state of fitness in his life.

Wouldn't surprise me but is there an actual quote of that?

The good news that we can now concentrate on the fixtures that matter and we have no more distractions. we now have now got a run of five games where we have to get results from at least three!

if he was anywhere near as good as you all said he was he would have taken 7 points minimum from his games so far. 1. he has taken 1 point. and stopped us scoring.

hes gotta be sacked before he takes us down, and spunks a load ofcash whilst hes at it.

it would be worth taking the hit on paying up his contract.

I see what you mean but we can't keep sacking managers. Should have taken a long-term approach and appointed Rowett rather than a dinosaur like Sam.

Couldn't give a t*** about the score. Am bothered about Schlupp being injured. Anyone know how badly? Hamstring usually isn't good news.

Yep, that's what bothers me far more than today's result. We're just not getting a lot of luck.

I think you still have your head up AP a**

Look at Pep and Mourinho it's taken them time and they have far better quality available.

You can't just walk into a job and think because they are top manager you turn things around instant there is a lot of stuff that is poor at the club that needs fixing clealry Sam didn't know this now he is here he has seen what a mess everything is (he wouldn't of taken the job had he know in advance)

Pardew slowly squeezed every ounce of spirit and fight out of this side. He's done it elsewhere too.
Did you think that would all be built back up in a few weeks?
If you did then I'd suggest football's not your forte.
