Allardyce said: "Unless the chairman knows any different from me, Christian Benteke is not for sale. I think he'll be available for this weekend."The Palace boss added: "Yes, I'm planning on him being here at the end of this window. He's scored eight already and he's got a big part to play."My interest is to strengthen the defensive areas at this time. When Zaha and Sako come back we'll have options. Loic's fit again." BFS will be working hard to ensure we keep more clean sheets and then the defensive players will atrengthen us further

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

If Fatty can manage to sell Benteke and then find two able replacements for him in the January window I'll eat my trousers.

As stated before, your honour, I never suggested Gayle was as good a striker as Defoe. I merely stated that her was off the same ilk. Smaller, pacey, natural finisher etc. To answer your question though, I'd expect the guy playing 90 minutes week in week out to outscore the guy getting the odd start here and there, plus 7 minutes at the end of most games. 'Goals per minute' is what I said. And THAT, i still believe, would be close. But as I said, back to Benteke. He's better than them both. Defoe has more goalscoring talent in his left hand than Benteke will ever have ~ as for Gayle , he had plenty of chances , didnt make ot at premier level . Plenty of times Defoe when younger got 7 minutes , difference was he scored .

If you can't remember them, I really don't know what to say. Let's agree to disagree?
