Schlupp for Zaha. f*** off you fat c***. I love Wilf, but in the second half he disappeared, stepped out of challenges and looked disinterested. Schlupp added some pace and energy that for whatever reason Wilf was lacking by the time he went off.

Again no protection from the ref. Maybe if we had some actual threat through the middle we wouldn't have to over rely on the wide men. I think the time has come to drop puncheon and try something different in the middle. Rémy looks a good player, surely he can play the no.10 role?, I'm not sure why we waited so long to bring him on. I hate to say it but Ward really is a liability, loses possession on far too many occasions, slows down play and is reluctant to put in a first time ball. The countdown is now on, we're running out of games and we need people to step up and give some big performances. Positive from today was Luka, seems mobile and I can't recall him giving the ball away. We've got a couple of weeks now, hopefully the new players can settle in and become fully integrated for the next game.

Probably about three seasons ago I was expressing concern about Ward and said I never rated him as much as many on here and I got pilloried and vilified !!!!

While I think fans calling for pardew back are stupid. It does seem to be as Big Sam a beaten man after England fiasco. I want him to suceed but can't help but think he's concreting on the defence too much and since his been manager, we don't look like scoring. If we lose against boro. I think he should walk. Get a young passionate manager in like Wagner, monk or di canio.

We had a young passionate manager it didnt work so we traded him in for a dinosaur. Time will tell if that was a solution.

It is down to the players. We have now had two experienced managers who haven't got a tune out of them. Collectively they are just a rotten bunch. I think Sam will get better value out of his signings than Pardew got with his though.
