For what? Premiership survival, £100mil every season. Rebuild the ground, actually have a competitive scouting network. You know, bring the club into this century. Can't do that relegated.

We haven't been relegated and nobody will ever be able to say we would have been, likewise I can never say we would have survived and made the top half, it's all hearsay Rudi and crystal ball ..and I know you are going to say that we were going in one direction and we had awful form, well you're right about that and that alone, the rest is crystal ball stuff and our own personal reasoning.

.. Burnley did.

More twaddle and waffle.

He's not good enough and gone. Get over it.

You can excuse some things here and there but for as long as he? Nah. If it was bad luck one week it'd be sh1t decisions the next or more bad luck because he was relying on luck because of poor management. Id rather not rely on luck.

..some of the players are not good enough.

Our scouting under Freedman was phenomenal, given that almost the entire spine of the teaam that stayed up that first season (and a number in the second season) were low cost signings.

Premiership wise, we've been a bit patchy on the scouting front.

I know. He hasn't actually 'done' anything. He pointed out what you can do. Loopholes, exploiting/bending the rules, whatever you like. But it was a sting he was tricked into and if any illegalities were committed he'd be in court by now.

I never used to like him but respected him. Thought he was past it going to West Ham. I was wrong. Said he'd save Sunderland. I was right. I think he'll see us well safe......

Sad he lost the England job because it was good to see for a change someone showing his excitement to be in the job and hopefully transmit that passion into the players. I don't agree with the people claiming he was happy cos he'd make more money on the fiddle. He was played by a broadsheet, his agent c0cked up having him there and Sam was naive and foolish.

What's important is what he can do for us on the pitch and that is positive enough to go for it IMO. In a few years time is like to think we'd go more progressive if you like but we are where we are and as the scouting of players is non existent there isn't going to be much analysis or scouting of managers either.

I don't think he actually broke the law, just the FA's bylaws and regulations, so its unlikely he committed any crimes per se. In fact he probably only 'brought the game / FA into disrepute', otherwise I think they'd have thrown the book at him.

Thank God, the Americans and Steve Parish we're not waiting till we're in the bottom 3 and f***ed which is what we would be if you and his 3 other supporters would rather see us do.

Gives you something to cling onto whilst 99.99999% of our supporters know he had to go and other people can do better. Also don't have to keep reading desperate people defending him whilst we deteriorate under his supposed leadership. I bet the players are glad he's gone as well.

..but they managed to return with the same manager just as Newcastle are doing now, but the stats are not good for teams going down;

..a little bit of investigation would have quite easily unearthed a ton of that stuff regarding this chap with his years of dealing and wheeling, exactly the same as Redknapp...very hard to change ones spots, especially ones that have enabled much success with the individuals, would explain how easily he managed to walk into such a trap, he just carried on as he always did...hence the papers had a field day and a disgusting one at that.

F*** it I'd take that and conditions written into his contract there's no more extra football work apart from sky or BT sports rather than Barnsley twice a season and back to 13,000 in the 2nd season.

You're very desperate and inapickle.

The catastrophe has gone.

In the County Court cases are decided on the "balance of probability" and in view of Pardew's record in 2016 the balance of probability is that we would have been relegated
