I wonder if someone who is far more twitter savvy than I could inform me if the account @apardewcpfc is in fact the true one for Mr Pardew?

I ask this before I comment on some of the content further.

Many thanks DD

I think that there would be uproar from the fans if Pardew managed to hold onto his job by making a scapegoat of Millen and getting rid of him.

Agreed - Millen has been with us for a long while and the defence was fine - it is not his fault that it is suddenly useless.
So many factors but AP is the man in the frame not Millen.

There is nobody obviously available to replace AP at this precise moment so I think he will for this reason keep his job for the time being.
I have only missed two games this season both home and away and inspite of our current league position we are a better footballing team than last year.
The players are as much to blame if not more than Pardew for our awful defending,Delaney should come back into the team immediately, since he has been out we have gone to pot.Selling Jedi was a mistake,Soare,s car crash was a disaster, not having Remy available hasn't helped,Ledley 's recent injury has cut our options, both our goalkeepers have not exactly covered themselves with glory and all a lot of you can do is blame the manager,he can only work with what is available and hopefully they will pull their fingers out and perform for the loyal fans and the manager in the next couple of weeks.

Yes, he's been unlucky with injuries, but then so are a lot of managers. He's been in charge for 3 transfer windows and spent approx £50m last summer, so this squad is his choice. We all knew we needed another left-back, so why didn't Pardew? He let youngsters who had played pre-season go out on loan (such as Kaikai, Ladapo, Anderson as well as Williams) but did include Appiah who was nowhere near fit and left a space for what turned out to be Flamini who has played 18 minutes of football so far. Mandanda was his signing, as was McCarthy last season.

Going into added-on time, Bradley was under huge pressure and Pardew was seemingly "Off the hook". Total reverse 7 mins later.

Perhaps as a positive, one can say that the players showed great fighting qualities to come back from 3-1 down and as such one could conclude that they were still playing for Pardew.

We certainly fought back but let's be honest - goals two and three were a huge deflection from a cross and a ball that bounced in off a knee.
They were hardly vintage goals!

No it isn't, those accounts that have been confirmed as genuine have a tick against the person's name (see Steve Parish for example @CEO4TAG). It does actually say 'parody' as well, anyway.

Exactly. My immediate reaction - after the initial euphoria had subsided was:

1. We can still lose this
2. If we don't, Pardew is still not off the hook because
3. We've played very badly against very poor opposition

I might be wrong but I get the feeling that all those who firmly want Pardew dismissed would want a Pardew led team v Southampton to lose rather than win as they will conclude that this will hasten his departure whereas a win could see him given more time at the club.Maybe in the main I am totally wrong about this.

I think all will give support to the team, points are so crucial now but when the next loss comes Pardew is going to receive more noise from the crowd to go.

I don't see the point of 2 more games to sort it out. The fact it's this bad says it needs dealing with now. It's inevitable now and delaying it is making the task harder for the next manager and could put some off when we're worse off than we are now. Whether a win comes or not there's a 4+ run of losses to come. He cannot and will not go for a trickle of points those managers who know how valuable those trickle of points are.

I hope Allardyce and whoever else on the list are watching videos of this naive, juvenile and comedy of errors and preparation/instruction so this hold up isn't a complete waste undoing our achievements to date. I shudder at the sh1t when those wages need removing from the wage bill in the championship and teams either don't want to match wages or pay anything near our valuation of a player.

Neither do I, unless Pardew has admitted to SP that he's got it all wrong, conceding goals does matter and grinding out results is the priority, and he's behaved like an arrogant t***. Can't see that happening somehow, so why Parish still has the safety lock on the trigger, who knows?

Absolutely agree!

Pardew doesn't believe any of this is his fault and he thinks he's the perfect man for the job. He assigns blame to everyone else for whatever goes wrong and the idea of accepting personal accountability seems alien to him.

He won't go anywhere until the herbert from security escorts him off the premises and chucks him into the street.

If we have to park the bus to avoid relegation, then let's get the 410 on the pitch now!

Whether Pardew should go or not I don't want park the bus football returning to Selhurst Park scoring one or two goals in fifteen games.
I need the entertainment factor at a minimum and Pardew provides that at least.
