If we can sign remy (on loan), A.Young (6m) and sissoko (25m)

Have a team like

Mandanda
Ward
Tomkins
Dann
Souare
Cabaye
McArthur
Sissoko
Townsend
Young
Benteke

Subs: Hennessey,Kelly, Ledley ,puncheon, Zaha, wickham and remy

That would give us a fantastic squad

Jesus couldn't teach Zaha how to perfect a cross.

Maybe not, but He might be able to help with his temperament.

Neither can any of our coaches by the look of it so perhaps he would be better off elsewhere if the standard of coaching is better.

Spurs under Pochettino have a good record of bringing on young players so perhaps it's that aspect that has attracted Zaha

Why? Is he an ex Palace stalwart?

But getting back to the point, AY would be a superb signing. Not one for the future, as some have argued, but a tried and tested fit-in left winger who can cross the ball accurately and can play in other positions as well.
Sometimes, to get established, teams need to sign ready made players rather than take risks on promising youngsters.

This. I think sometimes the buying of potential, or for the future detracts from the equally acceptable immediate impact players, the here and now. Ashely Young, albeit a bit of a tit, will immediately add more crosses than we had all last and this season so far.

I was very much in favour of sign AY but the more I think it over the more I don't think it'd be the right move for Palace.

It would immediately push Zaha out the door, he's never going to be one to a have a bit part roll from the bench. Personally I think the team needs strengthening elsewhere before we start upgrading wilfs position.

However I do think we should go for Oliver Burke as an understudy to Wilf and Townsend along with Kaikai..

Yes Young might deliver better crosses more consistently but I'd still rather have Wilf and all the years he has ahead of him. Imagine how many more memories he'll leave with us.
