Accelerated yes, caused by ? nope. The same boffins that bleat on about climate change also have to admit, as it is a geological fact, that the earth has been heating up and cooling down for billions of years. We just may have accelerated the cycle by a few thousand years ? which in geology terms is about 0.1 of a second in a day.
