Also anyone know why quoting has stoped working for me tonight, on every thread I can't seem to get quotes to work properly.
Seems to be working now. Must have been a Windows 10 gremlin.

Please don't tell me we are letting Murray go and replacing him with Wickham Hardly the 15 goal a season striker we was looking for. If we let Murray go we are left with a striker who's record is about 1 goal in 8 and an unproven in the premiership chelsea youngster. Oh and Campbell. Why would AP take Murray to South Africa if he plans to let him go right now? I think that Murray & Wickham will interchange, substitute each other depending on injury/form etc. A back-up for Murray is needed and this is a fantastic signing. Good point. Too many kids on here who haven't got a clue about the premier league let alone Palace.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sunderland Fans Happy To Offload Wickham ' by SloveniaDave Below is a link to a Sunderland fans forum. Not much love for CPFC's new centre forward on there!
Palace will finish comfortably higher than us next season, not really much to be laughing at.

Kept it quiet didn't they?! Just shows it's possible to keep transfer targets out of the media. Maybe Remy was just a smokescreen? Either way I think this is a good signing. Remember Wickham was playing in a consistently sh*t Sunderland side, and kept them up almost single-handed a couple of seasons ago. I hope we keep Murray and let Wickham and Bamford learn from him. His experience will be invaluable to a young, hungry striker and with the forwards we now have I'm confident we'll score lots of goals this season. Get a decent CB partner for Dann and we've had a very good window indeed
Murray's been playing since 2002 - that's a lot more experience that Wickham or Bamford. GM's worked his way up through the divisions and scored at every level he's played at. That kind of experience would be invaluable to a young striker trying to find his way in the top division.

How did Pardew get on the last time his team played you?

Has largely been played out wide left at Sunderland, which means his recent record is actually not unimpressive. The last time he got a long spell as a Centre Forward he ended up scoring 5 in 3 including 2 against the champions elect keeping Sunderland up, since then its been bit parts out wide.

i think this a good signing ,at sunderland it seems there is a problem at the club that is being reflected on to the players ,many times a striker will lose form at a club then move on to another and seem like a much better player ,when andy johnson came to palace he was not setting the world alight and he turned in to one of our best ever strikers ,give him time and loads of support and he could be a great signing
