Please note that the thread was discussing EU immigration and that Silvertop introduced the aspect of 'protectionism'. (btw we are still waiting for answer to the question of whether immigration should be totally uncontrolled and encouraged if it is of so much benefit).
Also please note the initial subject matter of this thread was the fact that Farage claimed to support Palace, not international migration. If you read through most threads you will find that they often develop beyond a strict discussion of the original post. My question is a simple one, if immigration is of so much benefit, why shouldn't we actively encourage it - perhaps pay people to come here? No one is prepared to answer - I wonder why?

So, as you think immigration is an unmitigated benefit that is actually the cause of everything positive happening in the country, you would encourage ever more immigration, no controls whatsoever, actively campaign and encourage the entire population of the EU to come here?

Really don't recommend letting your p*ss boil, you will be hospitalised AND WE WILL HAVE TO PAY!. Apparently twice as many 'health tourists' pay than don't pay, and they pay lots. Cost to treat free-loaders £60m to £80m, income from paying visitors appears to be way more but nobody can count it. Overall the UK is a net exporter of patients, with 63,000 travelling abroad for treatment. Don't know how many paid, those with an EHIC shouldn't have had to. I suggest a foley catheter and some nice cooling balm. Firstly no you wont have to pay seeing as I am in the Armed Forces we have our own Med center thanks. Secondly the rest of your post is unsubstantiated made up opinion (or bollicks for short).

Right enough of this shyte. Who thinks uncontrolled boarders or unchecked immigration to the UK would be a good thing for the economy ? Simple yes no will do. No other smoke and mirrors, bulsh1t, or belittling are required. As an aside I have read through the posts on here and whilst being totally dismissive of derban's points, not one person has effectively argued against them. Derban I doff my cap mate. Well Played Sir.
