If we're punished as a club then a can of worms would have been opened. Everyone must do this and I can't see how a whole club could be held accountable for information allegedly received by a staff member. And what would stop someone sending this information as a safeguard claims of foul-play in the future?

As Pulis said, any information he has received in the past could easily be a red herring. A teamsheet is hardly Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy anyway; knowing what they plan to do from set-pieces would be far more useful.

To be fair, the majority on that Cardiff forum see it for what it is. The others are desperately trying to cling on to hope of surviving as a result of this, which is understandable in their situation.

Tony, if Fulham need a result on the last day, put the youth team out and relegate Tan's tw*ts

...and as I think was mentioned previously when this came up...

If an employee of a team you are battling with against relegation gives you a 'tip' about their side, what do you do ?

a) alter your successful tactics and gameplan accordingly, thanks to this goldmine you have uncovered
b) ignore what could in all likelihood be a 'plant' to see how gullible you are
c) decide to have a sex change

I think a and c are just as likely to be honest !

With all due respect to it being the premier league and obviously a different level of football, how many of us as kids would play a team from around the corner, we would always know who was playing and who wasn't, and at the end of the day the better team would win on that occasion.
In the media, papers or tv they are always speculating days before a game on team sheets and injuries, so where is the big fricking deal here?!

dunno if this has been mentioned...if the bbc have seen the copy of the complaint, then somebody at cardiff must have leaked that to them as well...

How embarrassing for Cardiff fans!

As if they haven't had enough humiliation (owner, change of colours, results, manager musical chairs being stuffed by us twice...).

Now they get this! It's akin to your mum coming to school and telling someone off for being nasty to you.

I would hate to be a Cardiff supporter this season. Next might be even worse for them...

I really hope that the FA treat this with the importance it deserves and don't undo the mammoth results of the Pulis, CPFC 2010 and the players and coaching staff.

And another thing wtf is Freedman doing getting involved? What is his motivation here? At least we won't be seeing him at Selhurst in the foreseeable. Even amongst the die-hard Freedman supporters, surely he isn't welcome?

we got a bloody good youth team , have a little more faith in them, if we want to play a weakened side against Fulham we should all have a p1ssup to celebrate staying up the night before the Fulham game.

Cardiff are a joke club run by a lunatic. They are getting desperate and are looking for every excuse under the book. So what if we knew their line-up, it was their fault for telling us. The premier league will be better without them next season.

This sums it up for me

You want to know the secret that Cardiff’s executives are really trying to hide? None of them, from the top down, are smart enough for this league.

The only way this is likely to get resolved is if Parish is made to play a game of conkers against Tan.

Of course, Tan is the sort of moany kid that's going to make wild claims about varnish, vinegar and baking the conkers in an oven so for this reason the FA will have to choose the conkers for them.

IF the school bell goes whilst both conkers are in-tact then each conker should be assessed for aesthetic damage. If neither conker is more clearly damaged than the other, it becomes a roll-over and the game will continue the next break time. The FA should ensure both conkers are stored safely, in clearly labelled vaults over night to avoid allegations of conker tampering.

The loser should get a bog wash. The winner gets playground notoriety. Neither team will face a deduction of points or money.

This is the only way I see this panning out in the next few days.

Dougie money-grabbing Freedman is still annoyed that he left a club that got promoted the same season. I bet he regrets leaving Palace now and is out for personal revenge.
