Thought the link up play between Marriappa and Puncheon was excellent.

Not saying for one moment that Ward should be dropped obviously but they offered a very different threat going forward.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Terrific atmosphere today. The whole place was rocking. From my vantage point in the Arthur, I even detected a little bit of movement in the Main Stand. Astonishing.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Can't be bothered to look back through all the threads, but has anyone praised KG for his performance today? I'm a hater but today he looked like a different player.

KG had a great game, thought he and Yala were best players in the first half.

What a match! I didn't realize we haven't beaten them at Selhurst since Andy Gray hit a pk, got sent off with Dennis Wise and then Ian Wright chipped Lurch Beasant in
August, 1990. If I remember correctly, it was a Tuesday evening match and our home opener after drawing at Luton 1-1 on their poxy plastic pitch. Anyway, justice was done and the own goal couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Wore Palace colors with my daughter in NYC and we got a lot of congrats from other supporters, especially Man Utd and Liverpool over here. Great win, great way to win.

I think 1990 was the last League win. We beat them in the League Cup at home in 93. We must have been owed some luck against them, especially when they scored in the 1st and last minute on Boxing Day 1989 in a 2-2 draw

It's a must win and must win well for Chelsea.

Gonna relax and just enjoy seeing such good players at SP.

I am using the get out of jail card tucked up me sleeve with that one due to having had us down as surviving The Prem for a while now.

Just glad the players drank the 'special' tea I had prepared for them before the game.

Why did you remind me of Boxing Day 1989? It was my first at Selhurst after moving to London from the US (my ex-wife is British) and not only did Le Saux score that equalizer I, like the foolish Yank I was, gave him the ball back for a throw in a little bit before that. What a twit and dolt I was!
