Great performance Palace

It was. Think we've played better this season but just looked more of a proper threat going forward. Amazing the difference with Ince in for Jerome - and that was his debut, for us & in the Prem!

FFS looked in good shape too, felt so chuffed when he trotted on.

Good result and probably deserved. Feel like we won in spite of a couple of fairly shoddy performances from certain individuals.

Bolasie had a pretty quiet game, don't think Ledley is a natural full back and would rather we just put Parr there and move Ledley to midfield. A fairly typical performance from KG. And by that I mean, bad. Awful, unnecessary foul to give them a free kick near the edge of the area, mugged off completely near the end by Berahino, sold Jedinak a couple of terrible balls leading to free kicks for WBA and was at fault for their goal. I honestly don't know what managers see in his game which makes him such an auto-include.

Crap results for us today though. Norwich somehow getting a point out of Citeh, Southampton maintaining their fine tradition of never doing us any favours by managing to gift Stoke a draw and Villa being turned over at home by Wet Spam.

Ince looks terrific, very comfortable debut for him today, 1 goal 1 assist. Special shout out for Punch as well who had some very nice tricks up his sleeve. Speroni again saving the day. KG I also thought had a very tidy game, I feel he still has a lot to offer us.

Too soon to think that survival is now probable rather than just possible?

...today's performance was not good I'd say, the brollies came out for the second half with the wind up their arses and I feel we were rather lucky to get away with that 3-1 score, my main gripe is our 50/50's we are absolutely shit at them.

We will survive the season easily though.

Has a manager ever had his transfer deals vindicated so quickly?
I hereby confer a knighthood, arise Sir Tony.

I think so, it's so tight and everyone seems to be picking points up when e do. However we're a totally different proposition to three months ago and we're in a very strong position to do so now, with a better, more confident team and tighter defence.

I've got a feeling that Villa are going to go into free fall.
