2 hours

but I'm confused as to why Tandridge doesn't just walk from East Croydon rather than wait 20 mins for a train to N Junction - it's only 25 minutes

Now about 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
When I lived in West Norwood and if the 68 or 196 buses were late and next train was 30 mins.....used to just walk there.

5 mins from Beulieu Hill to Grange Park, meet my mate, 5 mins to Cherry trees, pint or two, 5 mins to the ground.

I'd rather be a FREE MAN in my grave

Just for a bit of fun -here are my calculations for the journey I made over the weekend to see Palace v Villa

Home Town:Hendersonville, NC to Ashville Airport 30 minutes
Wait 1 hour for flight
Ashville Airport to Atlanta Airport: 1 hour flight.
Wait 4 hours for the flight to London
Atlanta to Heathrow - 9 hours approx!
Get off plane and then take train to the Palace. 2 hours

So just about 17 hours to get to watch the Palace. But believe me, it has always been worth it.

Not sure why, just love the Eagles!!!!!!!!!!

Once it took me over 12 hours.

I could say my car broke down on the Purley way and I then mugged at knife point, whilst gagged and tied to a pole. But it sounds a bit Manchunian.

I was flying from Shanghai to London, yet it counts as I did go to see the game and had this in mind. Then spent the rest of the time on Holiday.

Maybe it doesn't count arh well,time to break down on the Purley way then :}

Forever Palace Proud
