Tusk has done wonders for the leave without a deal campaign. Great news.

Every sympathy for Tusk particularly in dealing with us. The withdrawal agreement signed in December was probably only done with the British PMs personal assurance to Tusk that this would be passed by the UK parliament. Tusk is terrific, at last someone can say it like it is.

He sees the total incompetence, in fighting and self serving nature of our political elite culminate in the shambles we have today and its no wonder he's angry.

Juncker seems fine defending Marx and the Nazi's and the USSR didn't exactly respect other peoples borders. Totalitarian seems to be the operative word. They all want access to other peoples money and restrict free speech (and freedom in general).

Still, if you were one of those who criticised Johnson for Nazis and Hunt (that creep) for the 'USSR' then really to be consistent you'd have to criticise Tusk for this stuff. But to be honest.....It's politicians saying what they really think and I prefer them and respect them more when they are honest about how they feel rather than be disingenuous liars. Just my personal take.

I rather liked Jacob Rees-Mogg's retort to the Tusk outburst : "Mr Tusk is hardly in the Aquinas class as a theologian and he seems to have forgotten the commandment about not bearing false witness".

Hmm. Not saying that off the cuff though is he. There must be a logic for saying it now. I can't imagine it's to encourage the Peoples' Vote so maybe it is correct that he is getting the excuses in first Mind you, it's quite true. We blame Blair for going into Iraq with no plan for the peace, yet the usual suspects went ahead with this project without any apparent detailed thought. Surely they knew how complex and messy it would become yet they didn't have even the slightest plan and in fact won't get what they said they were after. Unless they have all spoofed us. I can imagine Boris always wanted a 'soft' Brexit but saying it wouldn't suit his ambitions.

For myself I find a top brass member of the EU criticising another state for not having a 'plan' as slightly amusing. If the current EU is the result of what happens when you have a 'plan' then gawd blimey......I'd rather trust Gemma Collins to safeguard a bag of chips. Originally posted by Mapletree

Yep.....Boris kind of let that out of the bag when he wrote those two letters. Mind you if we are going to have another joke as a leader, I'm happy for it to be someone who can actually make me laugh. And I suspect that Johnson will get rid of all these 'hate' laws that the easily offended on both sides have been pushing and implementing.....So he gets my vote on that alone.
