Nissan shelving plans to build new X-Trail in UK, claims report

You know the phrase "take out the trash day"? This is exactly what a huge number of companies are doing (and have done) - Brexit is an immensely useful hook to hang their problems on. s*** business model? China slowing and not buying your goods any more? EUrozone stagnating? Supermarkets outpricing you on the costs of importing wine?

Note they never present the other side of the ledger - companies that have relocated here, invested here, and produce jobs here. It's almost like they are trying to paint a narrative by not presenting both sides of the story.

The last time that the rich took from the poor was 2008/9 ie Austerity. Rather than telling the banks to f**k off the public have happily swallowed 10yrs of austerity as apparently not to bail-out the banks would be suicidal. Really? We're now in a worse position than we were back then!
Brexit is no different. So many continue to swallow the same garbage and will happily walk the same path as they have for the past decade...........because they are too dumb to think for themselves.

Sunderland voted overwhelmingly to leave the European Union in 2016. In October, the former Ukip leader Nigel Farage said Nissan was “not going anywhere”, after the car manufacturer said a hard Brexit could have serious implications for the site.

Brexit in a nutshell. Town votes to leave, Farage said Nissan not going anywhere, the opposite happens, people lose jobs, Farage still talks same s*** with impunity but he won't lose his job. As with all prominent leave campaigners, Brexit does not affect them
