His views are clear, he has already posted here Israel should go back to the 1967 borders, what he really wants is no Israel at all, river to the sea etc just like Hamas

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Absolutely. Disgraceful behaviour from the Speaker. Going against accepted conventions.

Out of interest, and this is a loaded question, when Bercow did similar by way of going against similar conventions over Brexit did you object then?

The honest answer is I don't know, but I don't recall getting into any discussion on it if I'm honest, probably not - as a topic, I was nowhere near as impassioned about Brexit as I am this, particularly beyond the initial referendum and result.

Labour have once again shown why they are not worth my vote - more interested in politicking than anything else.

What flavour of ceasefire would you like? One that isn't really one at all.

In truth nobody is listening to British politicians anyway.

The Middle East is Islamic, Israel is the only non-Islamic state in the whole region.

Israel could not be doing any of this without USA that country is also responsible for this war.

To think that Israel, of all people, is committing a genocidal act described as another 'holocaust' by the Brazilian PM, with USA financial and military support, really it's like tearing up the history you once thought you understood.

And what is the goal of all this, to eliminate Hamas in Gaza?

What actual difference would that make, Israel is surrounded.

Yes, but if you have a sh1t army against a good one - you lose. As the Arab states have demonstrated several times before. Quite clearly, Israel is not scared of its neighbours - and it looks like its judgement on that, at least, is correct. What some people need to come to terms with is that in this world a good military is still required. This is not a lovely rainbow coloured , global world where we're all holding hands as friends - except for portrayals in a lot of the media. The reality is somewhat different.

I raise that eyebrow because these same parliamentarians have been telling us for ages that we need to fear the 'far right' in this country and that certain groups need 'protection'...passing laws and appeasing them at every turn......when in reality it appears that those now crying for protection are the very parliamentarians themselves from the very same.

Left or right the politicians in that esteemed building, by their very politics, turn it into a circus parody, with their leaders being the chief clowns.

Perhaps the great stink has reached the nostrils of MPs.

I'm glad they are scared.
Finally, they might realise what they have done to this country and see the threat to democracy itself.

Had the conservatives not withdrawn, then each of the motions would have been voted on, that would have been in the speaker's mind.

That, and the safety of MPs which hopefully is being addressed as a priority, he hasn't acted badly.

Some good news British aid reaching Gaza by the Jordanian air force, so we have at last done something however small.

Without Israel or the United States.

So lets look at the two scenarios.

1. The Speaker pulled this stunt to stop the Labour Party being embarrassed.

2. The Speaker pulled this stunt to 'protect' MP's from the hostile crowds of predominately Muslims outside protesting.

LOL.

Neither scenario bodes well for the UK. About time for a revolution me thinks.

The Police ignored multiple offences by protestors outside Parliament yesterday including the projecting of 'From the river to the sea...." messages on to 'Big Ben'. Reporters were 'Egged', intimidated and faced hostile behaviour against them.MPs feared for their safety.
Disgusting and abhorrent behaviour.

The inaction of the Police was a total and utter disgrace.

Unfortunately when protesters damage plate glass on bank’s property or remove statues and cause various other forms of damage and the judges fail to dish out suitable punishment, then the police must feel like it’s not worth bothering with the process of detaining offenders. When the mob have the upper hand we are all lost.
