There are things you can change via politics and there are some that are not.

do that if you want to start a Civil War. In Ireland we were asked, no, told, to vote again on the Lisbon Treaty. Cos the EU didnt like our answer the first time. Pure Bullying. its like a Rapist who refuses to listen to the victims cries of 'no'. if the illusion of democracy is to be believed, then it must be stamped by politicians doing what the Public asked for. When a Parliament ignores the public then it is no longer a Parliament.....it becomes little more than a tyranny. Edited by PalazioVecchio (31 Oct 2023 12.31pm) The public must be listened to. When they vote. Not when a section of them threaten insurrection. The public also have the right to change their mind. If they didn’t Brexit could not have happened. They can therefore change it again.

Great logic. I expect Rome had people with your capacity for wilful myopia. It’s you who wilfully ignores the success of many of our new arrivals and especially the second and third generations. You only see the misfits and trouble makers and then seek to tar them all.

Great. So let's have no more windmill talk when it's just a question of time. As I said before there are some things that are capable of being changed by political will and others that aren’t. Rejoining the EU is possible. Going back to 2016 and voting differently because we now know better, isn’t. Which might be an extreme example but the same principle applies to many others. Knowing which is which can save a lot of time and effort. And windmills.

Which goes back to my point regarding migration that politicians have got us into a position which they can't now get us get us out of. It may well be that your local hospital benefits but the streets around the estates of London, Birmingham and several other places aren't full of doctors on their night off.

With due respect that’s only an opinion. The reason why there aren’t enough doctors is much more complicated than that, in my own opinion.

“It was a grave mistake to let in so many people of totally different culture and religion and concepts, because it creates a pressure group inside each country that does that,”
