I'm surprised the England cricket team haven't blamed Brexit. Mind you there's still time.

I don't think I'm avoiding the point which was that crime is now at unprecedented levels, which it isn't. So you are comparing 18th century England with 2018? You are aware that crime statistics are a relatively recent invention. Those that are available and broadly reliable say that crime rose sharply after the 1950's.

Oddbins has gone bust today and one of the reasons they gave was poor sales due to the uncertainty over Brexit. Fancy a bottle of wine with dinner tonight? No thanks as I'm too worried about Brexit Into administration, not gone bust. It will do though as it's an outdated business model. Most supermarkets have a similar size range, for less money and you can buy it when getting all the other food and drink you need. Their owner got done for drink driving last year.
Optimistic as ever |

Highly unlikely that you would have more than checked at all, as is the case now, and why. If there is a reason then police here or abroad will question you, or whatever, just as it is now. There is no discernible change here from being in the EU or not a member.

I was in Holland recently and the security announced EEA, Swiss and UK all into the European queue. That's obviously going to be their plan going forward. The UK and EU will all be in the one queue. Edited by corkery (01 Feb 2019 11.50pm)

Whereas you wish to ignore the high levels of crime in the 18th and 19th Century because it was a long time ago and nobody was counting them?
