How quickly you get arrested in Moscow speaking into a video camera. Why they’re there is the question.

I saw a youtube video the other day of interviews of ordinary Russians about what's happening in Ukraine. Was an interesting watch. The elderly appear to go all in with this state driven 'neo nazi hunter!' idea as ludicrous as it is. With the younger people I feel like access to the wider world via the Internet (which will likely become more more North Korea and restricted over time i should think) feeds into their view. Lots of 'i don't know enough to comment / not my business / but it doesn't seem like a good idea' angles. People do seem cagey and worried about saying anything specifically negative or referring war, but then I don't supposed legally its something they can freely even acknowledge anyway.

Oh look, Russian state TV ae debating where to flatten next. [Tweet Link]
Sounds like they only have to go to war with 5 or 6 countries to get what they want so hopefully they will calm down after that...

Predictions of Ukraine's war from April 2021 by former Russian MP Nevzorov - [Link] Can't see the end of his predictable happening quite as stated, but he certainly had a point with regard to the perception of the Russian military vs the reality of invasion. Plus he's right to highlight the dangers that Putin creates for himself at home in waging this war. Equivalently stated.. and darkly amusing. Edited by BlueJay (15 Mar 2022 12.43am)

"Fears that three British ex-special forces troops have been killed by a Russian attack in Ukraine are being investigated. UK authorities are investigating after dozens were killed in a missile strike close to the Ukrainian border with Nato-member Poland on Sunday, amid unconfirmed reports that three Britons were among the casualties."

If any British Special Forces were killed, no-one will know.

If Russia can't beat Ukraine, it would be national suicide to go into Poland or anywhere else. They're really being shown up for what they are. Equipment and logistics poor, morale poor, leadership poor. No strategy.
