I sympathise with anyone in block e who finds it outrageous that they're being asked to give up their long held seats.

That said, does anybody think the atmosphere at premier league football is anything other than abysmal? even with the HF it was awful, just a bit less awful than most other places.

it's something that can destroy the game, if advertisers and TV lose interest as a result.

And if people get so attached to their seats that they're in them until they're 95 years old, then how can atmosphere ever get reinvigorated?

Whether or not this is the solution, nobody seems to have the faintest idea across the top tier of English football how to lift the atmosphere. There are no clever alternatives, just apathy.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I had a quick look and it seems that many of the thousands of supporters who signed the petition were actually Brighton fans who were extracting the urine.

Whilst many of their posters seem as thick as pigsh1t there are one or two who are genuinely amusing and I did find Steve Parish being referred to as Prince Charming quite funny

Nice hair I'll bet.

If we can afford to pay Benteke 120k a week i don't see why the club cant find a solution to move the longstanding fans from block E with a financial incentive.

Here's a nice little brown envelope sweetener. I'd move for a couple of grand

Maybe we should have a maximum age, say 70. Then you can't come anymore because you can't sing. Or pack thd ground with kids, the make a lot of noise.

The one argument that pisses me off more than anything in this saga is the one saying “Block E don’t own their seats” as if the Holmesdale Fanatics all of a sudden do.

The board own the seats, and they’ve (rightly) said they don’t deem it as an acceptable reason to move people against their will.

It’s a completely redundant argument and a desperate attempt to vilify a group of Palace supporters, simply on the basis that they may or may not sing as loudly as others.

The HF own an equal amount of sweet f*** all as anyone else does, so it would be great if people could stop punting this desperate line.

I like to remind you what a LOT of RUBBISH this thread is about, 100 juveniles thinking they are bigger than the club.
The next thing will be asking Steve for shares in the club.

Lets get a proper "CHOIR" supported by the club with real singers and a decent drummer ONLY JOKING

How about offering the HF to your home club Southampton it will be doing us all a favour

Time to close this stupid THREAD

Quite right. Next people will be saying the 22 people on the pitch contribute more than the rest of us at a match

What has the HF ever done for us eh? Apart from increase the atmosphere threefold, keep singing all game, got us a reputation as the most passionate ground in the Premier and gained us global notoriety.

And if they told us a term of their (great) support would be the right to impose themselves in any part of the ground at a drop of the hat & regardless of the current seat holders wishes, believe me, I and many others would’ve told them to f*** off from the start.

I'm sorry but there's only so much implicit slagging off of the common garden non HF Palace fan I can take.

This club will do very well thank you very much with or without fanatics.

I value them but I don't value them any more than anyone else who pays for a ticket and comes to the ground.

Hi Mapletree,we meet again, regards to yourself

Sorry, I forgot about all the 100 STRONG have done for our club.

My suggestion is:-

HF are given 100 seats in the Directors Box,FOC of course

The "so called"Drummer, gets to sit in between Steve & Brighty,to ensure plenty of TV coverage

HF can use ALL the facilities of the Directors Box including free refreshments,FOC of course

Steve will arrange a special bus for the HF to ensure they attend all the games,FOC of course

Steve to consider transfering part ownership of the club to the HF for their incredible support over years and years for which we are all so grateful.FOC of course

Steve to arrange for a "child care centre"at the ground to cater for the many HF younger members.FOC of course

Time to CLOSE this ridiculous THREAD

Living in Australia, the HF are legends to most EPL fans here wherever team they follow. With them the stadium rocks and helped get us where we are now. A bit of respect wouldn't go a miss.
