I am not talking about rich people here as I don't know any this is just your average middle of the road bloke/woman and it's not just due to tax rises. Anyway I think that scenario is highly unlikely to happen thankfully and by this time next week we will have heard the last about that old Marxist Some are suggesting that the Conservative lead is narrowing and we all know what happened in 2017.Us Conservatives are taking nothing for granted - it is all to play for. On that note I must depart now on the campaign trail !

I forget which paper but there was an article saying that Corbyn has selected 80 new candidates many standing in safe seats. I wonder if the hard left are more interested in consolidating power within the Labour party than winning this GE. They win even if they lose if they increase the number of pro Corbyn MPs and dilute the moderates. He may well step down but the Marxists play the long game it's all about who replaces him. The Blairites have taken a pounding which is why many are not standing this time. Corbyn II younger shinier and sexier is on the way, you have been warned. Edited by Badger11 (05 Dec 2019 1.19pm)

If that were to happen could we see the formation of a new political party as the more moderate Labour MPs and voters need a new home

Move over Frost vs Nixon.. it's Schofield vs Johnson It's a shame he was the only one to dodge the Andrew Neil interview, but from a strategic and polling point of view I can understand why. It's coasting mode, and he doesn't want to accidentally put his foot in it when it's his to lose. That's a huge insult to the late David Frost who was a heavyweight commentator whilst Schofield's target market seems to be housewives. The interesting thing about the Andrew Neil non interview with Boris Johnson is that I doubt whether anyone really cares apart from the BBC of course

Most of those are at retirment age anyway. We now have a combination of griselled old Marxists with very dark and hidden agendas and foolish screetching fish wives and a large smattering of generic diversity window dressing. Most of the other parties are a light version of the above. Labour are an utter s*** show.

Indeed, that was the point I'm making really. That Schofield is not equipped to give a grilling to a cheese sandwich let alone a politician, which is why Johnson and others all make a beeline for his sofa Edited by dollardays (05 Dec 2019 1.51pm)

You’ve said before - not sure why you need to keep telling everyone. I hate saying this as it's such a lame humblebrag but I would be too and I am absolutely fine with paying a bit more. I am able to live a very comfortable lifestyle and able to save every month too. My wife is a primary school teacher - I'd be fine with the extra just being paid directly to the school tbh.

Perhaps I was drunk before, perhaps I am losing my memory or perhaps I am just sick of being discussed purely as an ecominic unit as the main demographic that both carried the weight of this country for years but at the same time doesn't matter.
