They're leaving it late to make their mind up aren't they? When's the cutoff?! Wilf had until last night to respond to the charge, now a Regulatory Commission will convene and hear the evidence - this is so those who sit on the Commission have sight of any mitigation and can call for assistance if they need it. Wilf will appear in person probably with a QC to represent his interests.

Cos you know he'd get another one!

I think any ban will be in the PL as the rules changed to make red and yellow cards competition specific. My guess is that he will miss Leicester away and possibly Man U home.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I thought it was only yellows that were competition specific, and red all comps? But he hasn't had his hearing yet, so he's not banned from anything yet.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle Wilf needs to grow up. He's a disgrace. This is the consequence of his choices to keep spitting the dummy. Him being side-lined and team being weakened. Now he's got himself in a vicious cycle where he's targeted by opposing teams to make him lose it, putting himself at further risk of injury. They do this to bait him because of his mental weakness. I personally would not want him in an England shirt with his present stubborn and unprofessional insistence that all referees and opposing players are out to get him. If he didn't keep reacting the way he does players would stop risking yellow and red cards trying to bait him, and refs would start doing their jobs better before his silly histrionics that infer they are stupid or blind or incompetent.

Well, he does react that way. Some people do when they get physically attacked at work, day after day. Surely the point is what can be done about that. Sadly the referees can't be persuaded to do much to improve matters. In my opinion the club needs to train Wilf to get one up on his attackers one way or another. And it also needs to use the strength of the team to punish the perpetrators in some fashion. I reckon use the Israeli approach to life, whatever you do to me I send back three-fold. This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle I don't know if he is already having it, but he needs some kind of therapy that will help him channel his frustration and anger into his game. His tantrums are getting tiresome and he is letting himself, his teammates, the club and the fans down. Edited by southnorwoodhill (06 Feb 2019 6.06pm)
