Has May just beaten JRM?

with a 12 point margin to remain, is this the last gasp /grasp of a known sell out?

Much as I want a no deal Brexit I will take Mrs May deal if the back stop is modified rather than the alternative which is Remain. I suspect that many Tories feel the same way. But first Mrs May has to convince the EU.

The EU now has to decide do they give Mrs May enough to get the deal across the line or do they stand firm hoping that the Remainers can win the day. If they stand firm they run the risk of a no deal Brexit which neither side wants.

So do the EU get greedy and risk it all or do they accept that Brexit is going to happen and make the best of it.

as well then? Just that I'm trying hard to find a notable famous Brexit exponent who isn't heavily invested in its failure

No, I prefer my own research, make my own conclusions and hey presto............the EU is broke. Fact.
You take the side of those who have robbed us all for decades now, continually swallow everything they stuff into your gob.........and still ask for more. Each to their own.
You make a meal of the views of a small percentage thinking that you're clever and proving a point when all the while the far larger percentage continue to stuff s*** down your neck.
That's where you and the rest of the blinkered are at bud.

Fact.

Presumably because they knew it would not be popular.
How will this pan out? I am sure our EU loving posters will find only good in the idea

Good luck with that.

You're right, each to their own, you seem like your typical Brexiteer, views based on a mixture of nationalism and misconception, although I feel where we differ are my views are backed up by actual facts rather than put fact at the end of the sentence and hence my points are more valid

Carry on, you seem at peace in your own little world. Can you explain what a typical brexiteer is? I voted to leave and would again but I want to know if I am typical (as you know nothing about me, this should be interesting)

The problem with a European army will be communication between multiple nationalities so to make it easier why don't they all learn German. It makes sense to me Germany is the key political and economic leader of the EU so they might as well run the military as well.

Think this may have been tried a couple of times last Century!

It is beyond a joke. And look at France. Imagine similar protests happening in Russia with their police acting in the way that the French are. It would be wall to wall, 24/7 condemnation but because Macron is an EU bitch boy, then barely a murmur above what they have to report to retain any credibility what so ever.

But on Brexit, trying to get my head around what this latest twist means in terms of this proposed Coope-Boles amemdment which seeks to stop us leaving on March 29th.

Interesting reaction at the moment from Rees-Mogg calling on May to invoke a Parliamentary procedure which closes it down for a few days.

Not sure where I stand on all of this because we seem to be entering into a period of constitutional mayhem which does not bode well for anybody.

Do none of these politicians appreciate the matches they are playing with and what they could spark off? Through out this entire process I have struggled with how ardent Remainers have been so blase about attemtping to undermine the result of a democratic vote without giving any serious consideration to the backlash. It has become an obsession with some of them that seems to go beyond any logic or reason.

Seriously, what on earth does that mean?

Tin hat

BTW everyone is broke. That’s the capitalist system, built on ever expanding amounts of debt. Nothing new here.
