Look at the credentials of some of these people! These are the real experts: The ones that don't work for public health agencies or Big Pharma:

I'm sure they all smirk and pull faces something rotten when peering over official statistics and gleefully rub their hands musing over their millions of dirty loot somehow mysteriously earned from easily fooled patrons.

Because we all know that no one working for big pharmaceutical companies ever lies or is mendacious with the truth.

Never happens and would never happen.

But you and me are not fooled Stirling. The comprehensive list of experts I have put up (that apparently doesn't exist) proves that.

Yep, they don't exist because I never saw them on the BBC or in the Guardian or such like.

You know that if Chris Whitty didn't give them the thumbs up then they are all out to defraud us.

No one questions the science.....you know that.

I mean how would science advance if people were questioning it.

Science is all about group think and consensus, not testing and questioning.

Apparently.

That's why you'll get our friends e 17 and Wisbech still sticking to the same song. It's too painful to see they've been fooled. Got to bury it deep man. Lol

The UK government is set to pay out over £11.5 million in Covid-19 vaccine damages to nearly 100 claimants, according to official data released by the NHS Business Services Authority.

A freedom of information request from Research Professional News revealed that, as of May, 72 people have received a payment from the government for being severely disabled by a Covid-19 vaccine, or on behalf of someone who died from the vaccine.

Only those at high risk, or who work with them, are being offered the booster in the autumn.

Your ideas about "us" are all in your head. Midazolam? proves my point. Look it up if the search engine goes behond the BBC.

You were the one posting two names (in fairness, I did say one). I'm aware that there are plenty of people happy to generate a following and earn a crust by playing to the crowd. Some will have some level of genuine intent, others will have none. To rely only on that group for your information is bizarre when you are firing the same old barbs at others about using only one source of information themselves, eg. the usual BBC tropes etc. It doesn't show objective thinking or reasoning to me. Just demonstrates someone who has already made his mind up.

Believe whatever you want to believe. I'm still not even sure what you're arguing against now though TBH – shifting sands depending on how I reply.

No rational person would ever say that big pharma and corporate america are free from corruption, far from it. However, what that doesn't mean is that everything associated with them is a lie. It also doesn't mean they are able to keep secrets very well, or avoid scrutiny or litigation. See DuPont, the Sacklers and the opioid epidemic...

But, sure, you no doubt spent hours listening to, reading about and assembling all those links yourself (some of which are interesting, some of which are a bit drossy, same with most journalism, independent or otherwise)

Also re your stats

OpenVaers records statistics for ALL vaccines, not just COVID.

It's also worth noting that it states this at the bottom of every page 'OpenVAERS is a private organization that posts publicly available CDC/FDA data of injuries reported post-vaccination. Reports are not proof of causality.'.

A brief scan reveals what they term as 'Injuries' to include more common vaccine side effects, such as fainting, hot flushes, irritability, fatigue and so on. Looking through quickly, most appear to be of that type (unsurprisingly).

It would be interesting to understand what percentage of these COVID specific reports are actually SERIOUS side effects. I'd wager that further investigation would reveal the % of serious effects to be more or less in line with the publicly declared expected % against 5.5bn people and around 13bn doses.

What is not up for debate is that the vaccine, like all vaccines, has side effects, some serious. What is up for debate is whether this percentage is above average or significant, or not as yet declared. This will also evolve over time – if something serious develops and comes to the fore, then there will be lawsuits aplenty.

What I do agree with though, is that if people have suffered life changing side effects or death, there should be the chance to prove causality and claim compensation. This happens with the flu vaccine, although I'm not sure of the success rate.

Some of the side effects for the flu vaccine can be pretty terminal. Although established, they still have to be proven to be successful.

As they should.

Same happens with several vaccines, has done for some time. There are also legal practices that specialise in fighting for damages for the flu vaccine, for example, if provable.

Always question the science. Just because you don't get the answers back that you wanted doesn't mean you dismiss it though.

You're being a bit facetious here. Sure, there's rampant corruption in corporate science, in fact science in general has always has it's shady parts. Human nature. But to suggest, even flippantly, that it isn't questioned at all is bizarre. It's the only way it moves forward.

People are literally doing this every minute of every day, whether YouTubers or established individuals or groups within the scientific community. All valid. The winner at the end is always... science. If there's truth there it always surfaces in the end. Not always as quick as it should, but it does.

What matters is consensus and quality of research, and how it's presented.

Theories are fine – they're literally the starting point for any refinement of science or physics but developing hypotheses and proving them out requires time, dedication and rigour (and sometimes lawsuits).
