Yeah, f*** the people who are working their arses off and already pay £40% tax. Let them pay for more immigrants while watching their country go to s***.

These sentiments strike a chord with many people.
But of course the wealth creators, billionaires, free market economies, and the USA etc etc are anathema to those on the left.

In terms of taxation, 4 million fewer people pay tax now than they did in 2010 and 2.4 million will be exempt from NI tax as a result of the proposed changes to the NI thresholds.Lower-paid workers have and will continue to benefit from Conservative policies.

Genuine question; how does one become so loyal to a party that they will defend the party line, without question or challenge, on any issue across the board? I’ve never come close to feeling like that.

Do you not disagree with the Tories on anything? Do you have to pretend Boris is honest and trustworthy to justify voting for them?

Who said that?

All this claiming ‘the top 5%’ are going to up and leave is pure fearmongering nonsense.

I don't have to pretend at all.
Boris Johnson has just been questioned about "Trust" by Philip Schofield and he provided a response in his usual articulate way.I totally agree with the arguments he articulated.
In actual fact, whever he is questioned/interrogated on this matter his answers have been in the 'Verisimilitude' category.

During this campaign I have spoke to those across the political spectrum and nobody has broached the subject of 'Trust' in respect of Johnson.

Some have used similar sentiments in relation to 'Yours truly'.
And of course some might conclude that my responses on HOL enter this category.

That can only be because it's a moot question. Everyone knows Johnson can't be trusted with anything or anyone (female)

A sweeping generalisation far removed from the reality.

Move over Frost vs Nixon.. it's Schofield vs Johnson

It's a shame he was the only one to dodge the Andrew Neil interview, but from a strategic and polling point of view I can understand why. It's coasting mode, and he doesn't want to accidentally put his foot in it when it's his to lose.

If I had a pound for everyone I have spoken to who have said they will emigrate if Corbyn gets in then I don't think I would ever need to work again. I am not talking about rich people here as I don't know any this is just your average middle of the road bloke/woman and it's not just due to tax rises.

Anyway I think that scenario is highly unlikely to happen thankfully and by this time next week we will have heard the last about that old Marxist

Well a percent of them will, which is disastrous.

Government needs policies that result in creating more of them....Which means policies that encourage people to work hard because it's in their personal self interest to do so.

You need policies that encourage investment not discourage it.

Socialism is fundamentally anti self interest.

It's one of the main reasons it fails......It only works as a moral pressure within society......When it actually runs one it ruins it.
