It's unfortunate then that thousands are allegedly in favour of this but just not the ones that need to be booted out of their seats to accommodate the HF's requirements

There's the solution then - all the marchers give up their seats/season tickets to HF - sorted!!

Thousands aledgedly for it because they've signed a petition.but still a small part of the whole crowd, and there's no way of knowing how many are against it. Personally if I had been in block E for years I wouldn't want to move, as I'm sure thd majority who are there dont. Not sure who's to blame, seems the club got cold feet when it got leaked and some in block e complained (how many we dont know), and the HF threw their toys out of the pram as a result. Both as bad as each other as far as I'm concerned. Dont really care if they come back or not to be honest, I go to watch thd match, support the team, meet up with mates, have a beer or two and sing now and again. Giving up on this thread now, as it's just going round in circles.

To be fair, at no point did I claim to be speaking for you or anyone else.

I would like to apologise if I gave that impression.

Not sure I did though.

On the positive side, I'm happy if I made you laugh, even if you were just laughing in a sinister way.

Not at all, I always try to laugh 'with' not 'at'

This HF group has positioned themselves as an elitist bunch, who expect the club to move longstanding season tickets holders out of their seats.
For years the club has positioned itself as a family club and is acting in the best interests of the fans.
People who support this elitist approach by the HF are misguided, it’s nothing to do with building an atmosphere, it’s about them attempting to show superiority over other fans.
If they got their way, where would it stop, other fans would then demand they get moved to a better position in the ground, as a precedent would of been set.

THIS with bells on!
Like I've also been trying to say. If it were just about the atmosphere they can sometimes create I'd be all for them. Its the way I have seen them behave towards other genuine Palace fans which makes me dislike their organisation. And I have seen first hand how they have tried to intimidate. A good friend of mine in his sixties was pushed and shoved around by three or four of them a year or so ago inside the ground. When his two six foot plus sons came down the steps with the coffees they ran for the hills and actually abandoned the position they'd been standing in first half and weren't seen again for the rest of the game.
Real brave boys! Against fellow fans it makes you even more sick to the stomach

Nice story....but probably didn’t happen.

Don't we march up the Holmesdale road every Saturday anyway?

I don't give two hoots if the HF return or not.
I don't go to Selhurst Park to watch them, I go there to watch the Palace.
And if we starting winning home games on a regular basis they'll be forgotten about anyway.
And at away games it's a fact they can make things uncomfortable for their fellow Palace supporters.

I would just like to say that I completely disagree with your post. I want the HF back asap.

Ok let’s get rid of the HF.

Along with this we will also have to accept that we will lose a recent but iconic symbol, atmosphere and be taunted by the media and other fans for the near future over the crap library.

It will be devastating because of the loss to be sang at “... is this a library?!...” Selhurst no longer in the top 10 places of atmosphere will be a disgrace.

Devastating. Life changing. Hope the club will bring in counsellors on match days to help fans cope with a short term bit of mocking from complete strangers, who matter not one whit in real life outside SP.
