I was wondering who was Steve talking about when he said in the interview that we had an offer accepted for an Italian striker before having cruciate injury.

I presume he was on about Kouame who is currently at Fiorentina on loan from Genoa, although he is a youngster, 22 I think. The deal was supposedly done until his knee went.

The interview was good PR and well presented, this doesn't change my view that the last few transfer windows have been nothing short of a disaster IMO. Let us just hope lessons have been learnt and we now go forward but I feel new investors are required asap.

The interview was generic sound bytes. Once again we have some shiny artist's impressions of a project without planning permission. Edited by HKOwen (23 Feb 2020 12.02am)

The interview was generic sound bytes. Parish contradicted himself and events, as most BS’ers do if they’re around for long enough or let them keep talking. The best was transfers were blocking academy players. We are not customers for poundland or any other crummy outlet although I sometimes think we are that.

But our recruitment has been inarguably poor since promotion: we've overpaid on ageing players with no resale value, failed to sign young players (this is because it might stop our own from coming through? really??), and created an imbalanced squad with too few creative players. We need to change the profile of the players we sign, and we need to improve our scouting so that we can identify better players. That should have been done by now. Those are reasonable criticisms, and lumping them in with the demands of the screaming morons on Twitter is one of the ways that the video deflects criticism.

That's your grown up opinion There is in my grown up opinion little hysteria simply people pointing out if it looks like bulls***, smells like like bulls*** and comes in a box labelled bulls*** there is a fair chance it's bull s***. Important issues to me as a fan are not whether the cladding and fit out contracts have been awarded FFS Originally posted by braunstoneagle
