For reference, my comment was not about technical performance. Audi won Le Mans in a diesel in 2006, I'm fully aware of their not so modern capabilities. But, as per my original point, both that car and yours, were still diesels. Maybe the inevitable ban won't come in when we leave the EU...

Foreign companies who invested here were sold the UK as a gateway to the single market and a stable country for business with the native business language English. The UK now is an unstable place and will not have any influence or even membership of the single market. It is brextinction by popular support.
